The Local History Open Day held by the Society on Sunday 16th March proved to be a great success with over 80 attended the event throughout the day. To look at some of the pictures taken during the event, go to the LINKS page and click on the Facebook link (the top one). If you have not yet joined the LDHS Facebook page, this is a good opportunity to do so. It is there for members of the Society to communicate with each other and post their. own ideas and photographs. Please make the most of it!

The 2025 programme of talks continues with our meeting on Monday, April 7th in Longtown Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Elizabeth Semper O’Keefe will be giving a talk entitled ‘Every Motor Car shall be Registered – Hereford Social History from the Vehicle Records‘

Member’s subscriptions can still be paid on the night at half (£6) the normal subscription of £12.
